La famille Michot can trace its roots to the French Province of Auvergne at the time of the Marquis de La Fayette, and its branches bear the fruit of a number of rootsy Cajun music ensembles. The raw edge of steel guitar collides with the deep soul power of gospel music to create the uplifting sound of this exuberant sextet from Florida. These three brothers and their three nephews grew up with the House of God church's fascinating sacred steel traditions. Plan now to join us for these special evenings of music, conversation and revelations at the intersection of heart and soul, of jubilation and jamming.
