iDiDx: International Digital In-Development Expo - 02/26/2008
LAFAYETTE, LA-international Digital in-Development Expo is an Entertainment Festival held downtown---the historic heart of our community.
iDiDx is a digital media showcase that explores the intersection of entertainment and technology through motion pictures and music production.
Join us in downtown Lafayette April 17th through the 20th for the latest independent movies, original music and engaging panel discussions, workshops, nightly gatherings and parties-all in support of the growth of Louisiana's Entertainment Industry.
The objectives of iDiDx are to align with the state's efforts in building an indigenous entertainment industry workforce and infrastructure, provide a forum for artists and content creators to showcase their unfinished projects, as well as host workshops, demonstrations and panels that bring together artists and entertainment industry professionals.
The event will facilitate the development of local as well as global infrastructure designed to maximize next-generation entertainment technology. iDiDx is interested in works that are currently in-development. Give yourself the opportunity to pitch your unfinished product to noteworthy content producers. All works without distribution are considered "in-development." iDiDx is currently accepting call for entries; applications are available on our website (www.iDiDx.com, www.internationaldigitalindevelopmentexpo.com).
